We know that visiting a new salon can be challenging. We want to make your visit to ExcluShear Salon as seamless as possible. Here are a few Frequently Asked Questions that may help you better prepare for your future appointment with us. As always, if you have further questions, please do not hesitate to call or email us.
Are you accepting new clients?
Yes! We are always accepting new clients. Be sure to book the New Client options with the Stylist of your choice.
Do I have to book a Consultation?
Yes, Consultations are required for new clients. The Consultation fee does not go toward your future services as it is a service lasting up to 60 minutes and does NOT include additional services. This service is required if you would like a short tapered cut, pixie cut, curly/textured style, relaxer and/or color services.
Can I get my hair done the same day as my Consultation?
Yes! We have a New Client Consultation Package that includes our strengthening treatment and a cut. This is the only styling option for new clients.
(This may not be applicable for all salon staff. The booking site for your Stylist will give the option to book additional services if applicable.)
Is there a deposit to book an appointment?
No, we do not require deposits. We require a card to be on file that is held only for no show or last minute cancellations.
What form of payment does your salon accept?
We do not accept cash payments. All payments are accepted using most major cards such as Visa, Master Card, American Express etc.
What are your hours?
Our salon staff independently operatetheir business which means each stylist will work different schedules. We have appointments available from Sunday - Saturday from 7am - 8pm for select Stylists.
Can I bring my child to my appointment?
Unfortunately, we do not allow additional guest that are not being serviced in our salon.
Do you service children?
Yes we do! However, they must be able to sit calmly throughout the appointment. For select Stylists only. To ensure we get your little one with the best Stylist, please call or email us.
Should I shampoo my hair before my appointment?
We shampoo every client we service with the exception of our consultation only services. However, removing excessive build-up from the hair will help achieve the best finished look. Also, we ask our clients to have their hair detangled and ready to be shampooed upon arrival.
Do you offer chemical services such as color or relaxers?
Yes! However, we require a consultation to assess your hair and scalp before rendering chemical services.
How long will my appointment take?
Each appointment will be different based on your hair and its condition. Luckily, we do not over book so we plan to get you out of the salon as quickly as possible. It is always helpful to be flexible and not have anything scheduled immediately after your appointment when you are a new client.
My hair is really long and thick, will my price increase?
It is very likely as longer, thicker hair requires more product. We will discuss pricing in your consultation so that you aware of price expectations.
